I am planning a Christmas/ New Year Wedding out of town. Would you go to a wedding at this time?

Planning for December 28th. It will be a black tie gala with a Parisian winter forest theme. Location is the best i have ever seen , plus I will have snow, and manzanite crystal trees, the whole shabang...inspiration from Preston Bailey. I want it to be a real treat for my guest. the only problem is that most of our families live in NY and DC. the wedding is in Atlanta where we will be moving. My mother loves it, but my father is unsure if this will be a hard time for people to get out of town. I thought it was perfect...off work...kids out of school...most people like to go to parties and/or travel at this time. Airfare is cheap and even having a coach bus guest can take from DC if they can't afford to fly. Inviting 325 I really want at least 250 of my invitees to come.
