Ratpup please help...?

I bought a ratpup for my pastel ball python to eat.... he didn't eat it after multiple times of trying to feed it to him and so I decided to try and keep the rat alive and keep it as a pet.. I fed it for the past two days and this morning when I woke up its eyes were open! My question is what do I feed it? What can it drink? And how do I go about teaching it how to eat and drink on its own?
