Turbo car owners, need your help.?

im planning to buy a turbo car, not precise on which one exactly yet, maybe a skyline or something a little cheaper. anyways, my question is, is it hard or a payne in the to own a turbo car? i mean, do sensors disconnect? do valves blow? im pretty sure a stock turbo is no problem, but im asking about an upgraded turbo car, a car that has a lot of HP. appreciate your help.
